Jeremy Harttrup played the role of Young Duke of York in Richard III at the 2011 Stratford Shakespeare Festival! Jeremy was a key character and will be performed with Canada's finest actors including the famous Seana McKenna, Roberta Maxwell and Martha Henry. congratulations to Jeremy who was awarded a Tyrone Gutherie Award from the Festival. Jeremy began taking acting two years ago and played the role of Bubba in our November 2010 production of Bubba Begonia, You'll Be Sorry!
Brooklyn Rickert who made her television debut as the toothless school girl in the Much Music Video On Trial commercial with host Trevor Boris. Brooklyn is also the recent winner of a Second Place Award at the Kiwanis Drama Festival.
Congratulations to Kate Short who won the Best Juvenile Actress Award from the Ontario Drama League for her role as young Helen in Elmira Theatre Company's production of The Hollywood Arms. Written by comic legend Carol Burnett and her daughter Carrie Hamilton, this moving comedy-drama is based on Burnett's best -selling memoir, One More Time. Set in California in 1941 and 1951, it tells the story of a young girl growing up in a flawed family.
